Location: Milwaukee, WI, USA. Skills: Prodficient in equipment installation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting. Responsibilities and more: - Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems including but not limited to numerical controls, power supplies, drives, gages and test equipment. - Perform preventive maintenance functions. - Install, start up, and shut down, equipment in accordance with company safety procedures and in line with OSHA requirements. - Maintain housekeeping of work area and equipment. - Read and interpret equipment manuals, diagrams, sketches, engineering specifications, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. - Read and interpret electrical schematics to troubleshoot equipment faults and failures. - Working knowledge of NFPA 70 and 79 codes and their applications to meet national, state, and local codes. - Work with AC and DC voltages up to and including 480 volts. - Install and repair electric motors of all types. - Diagnose and program VFDs as necessary.
