Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Full Time Why our team members love working for Missouri Baptist Medical Center Anesthesia! Schedule -3-day or 4-day work week-All positions required to take call Salary -Base salary starting at $215,000 (4 days/week) for new graduates and increases based on CRNA years of experience.-Sign-on bonus of $30,000 paid after 30 days of employment, 3-year agreement.-Annual Call Bonus of $15,000 for taking call.-Eligible for Annual Merits. Overview Missouri Baptist Medical Center , an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, offers a full continuum of medical and surgical services, including heart care, cancer, women and infants, breast health, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, stroke, therapy, wound and pain management services. The hospital has a 24-hour adult emergency department and cares for pediatric patients at a separate emergency department in collaboration with St. Louis Children's Hospital.Missouri Baptist is the first and only hospital in St. Louis County to be named a Magnet hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). The prestigious designation is the highest credential a health care organization can receive for nursing excellence and quality patient care. This recognition has been accomplished by less than nine percent of hospitals nationwide. Additionally, U.S. News & World Report ranked the hospital #2 in the St. Louis metro area. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Advanced practice nurse who works in collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons and other physicians and medical professionals to deliver anesthesia for medical and surgical procedures. Responsibilities Participates in professional development and life long learning. Provides direct patient care and documents care given. Ensures compliance with all applicable state, local, and federal laws that may apply to anesthesia services. Completes the pre-anesthesia patient record, reviews the results of laboratory data, and begins induction when appropriate. BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
