(This position can be part-time or full-time, please note you must be available for in-person services.) Speech and Language Pathologist Responsibilities: Providing high quality direct speech-language therapy services. Conducting assessments, analyzing results, and writing reports to determine strengths and concerns in areas of speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills. Completing treatment notes and progress reports in timely manner and according to CLASS policy. Engaging parents and families in their student's learning and collaborating with the student's educational team. Ensure contracts and billable hours are completed in accordance with approved authorizations; oversee communication with families and funding sources to ensure program hours are attained. Effectively carry caseload with an increasing variety of ages, diagnosis and funding source requirements. Maintain all administrative records, client files and electronic files in accordance with corporate requirements including updated authorizations, contact and client information. Speech and Language Pathologist Requirements: Current CA SLP license Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Collaborate with BCBAs to develop age-appropriate speech and language goals for ABA-based intervention. Speech and Language Pathologist Qualifications (Skills & Abilities): Exceptional leadership, interpersonal and time management skills Excellent communication skills with executive staff, supervisory staff and therapists Ability to provide positive reinforcement and constructive feedback to motivate staff and achieve desired outcomes. Work well within collaborative teams to meet individual and corporate goals. Extensive experience working with a variety of family systems. Experience managing caseloads and special projects. Ability to communicate clinical findings and provide recommendations at a variety of meetings with families and funding sources. Experience collaborating with BCBAs and knowledge of applied behavior analysis is a plus. Experience working with early childhood population. Speech and Language Pathologist Compensation: Pay rate is $40 to $60 per hour. CLASS will reimburse Live Scan cost within 30 days of hire. CLASS will pay 3 hours of rate 2 compensation for completion and uploading of all required documentation on the first pay date. Candidates MUST have reliable transportation, a valid California driver's license and insurance, as you are expected to drive as a requirement of the job.
