At CIMTEC, a Sales Engineer develops and maintains business relationships with decision makers and purchasing influencers within an assigned territory. A CIMTEC Sales Engineer understands the desired customer outcome and develops pursuit strategies in order to profitably grow a portfolio of products & services designed to help increase the productivity and profitability of customer plants. This is a field sales job that requires a self-motivated, ambitious, technical person who enjoys solving problems and growing a business. The territory is East/West VA located in Richmond VA. Responsibilities This position is accountable for the promotion and sale of a broad range of technical products/solutions/services under the direction of the VP of Sales. Other responsibilities include: * Developing new sales opportunities / accounts and addressing and servicing the needs of established accounts. * Utilizing excellent products/solutions/services and customer knowledge to educate customers on pricing and application advantages, and how they meet customer's needs. * Leads CIMTEC sales within a defined territory. * Develops new sales opportunities pipeline in existing accounts. Perform developmental activities to target new competitive large accounts. * Drive account penetration in all price modes. * Acts as the focal point for customer communications and solutions * Ability and willingness to use CIMTEC CRM tools is a must. Qualifications/Requirements * Maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of all CIMTEC Product Lines and Services; including but not limited to FESTO, SICK, Universal Robots, Epson Robots, Emerson Automation and LMI * Develop forecasts and execute upon sales plans to achieve company and individual goals. * Manage and maintain excellent relationships and identify, develop and close new business opportunities with new and existing customers. * Prospect and develop new customers who are a good fit for CIMTEC products and solutions. * Maintain accurate account records within Salesforce (CIMTEC CRM) * 4 Year Degree or Equivalent * Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills * Experience selling Technical Products in a Manufacturing Environment * Effective time management and organizational skills * Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and spoken. * Business and financial savvy.
