Director Job Description We are looking for an experienced and skilled Leader with remarkable skills, who will run a department within our business effectively and with attention to detail. This results oriented role will play a vital part in the team’s commitment to key metrics such as customer satisfaction, order accuracy, speed of service, cleanliness, and labor productivity. Long term, this individual will have the opportunity to continue to serve as a top leader at Chick-fil-A County Line Road or potentially be developed into a career with Chick-fil-A beyond the local restaurantOur Director candidates are required to be in constant contact with our team and our guests. They need to be able to ensure our team provides the highest quality customer service and monitor the overall performance of their department within the business.This leader will spend time in restaurant operations (working "in the business") as well as developing people, systems and processes to advance the business (working "on the business"). They are expected to be a motivated, self-starting leader that can solve problems, delegate and utilize their team effectively, and prepare the business for future growth. Key Responsibilities of a Director Responsible for every aspect of a specified area of the business (Front of House, Back of House, etc.) Responsible for people development in their respective area Demonstrates ownership and optimism Pursues excellence and growth General Responsibilities of a Director Set the standard for Culture and Character in our business Exemplify servant leadership Align with the vision and values of Chick-fil-A Demonstrate integrity and trustworthiness Demonstrate proficiency in restaurant operations Hard-working with the ability to thrive in a fast-paved environment and perform under pressure Assist in recruiting, training and developing team members Understand metrics within the business that measure our success, like labor, productivity, waste management, profitability and sales growth. Motivating team members to perform to the best of their ability Hold team members accountable for actions, attitudes, and behaviors Setting goals for their area of business Ensuring compliance with food safety and health regulations Communicate mission, vision and goals effectively to their team Collaborate with Director Team to collectively own the results of the business and pursue growth and common goals Director Areas of Ownership Available areas of ownership for individual Directors include: Operations Training Marketing Financial Return Director Job Requirements Food Service experience; 2 years preferred, Chick-fil-A preferred Management/Leadership experience; 1 year preferred Full-time open availability, including open (5am) and close (11:30pm) at least once a week Organizational skills Teamworking and People Development skills Verbal communication skills Numerical skills Enthusiasm Executive skills Problem-solving skills Driven individual that demonstrates ownership and initiative About Chick-fil-A Chick-fil-A, Inc. is a family owned and privately held restaurant company founded in 1967 by S.
