A company is seeking a dynamic leader for the US Medical Affairs Lead, Vice President role. Reporting to the head of medical affairs, this position will shape and execute the US medical strategy for a novel cardiopulmonary therapy launch and commercialization. Responsibilities * Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the US medical strategy for rare cardiopulmonary diseases. * Medical Strategy: Lead strategy development for Aerovate's products, including education and evidence plans. * Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships for scientific exchange and insights. * Clinical Support: Collaborate with Clinical Development and Regulatory Affairs. * Education and Communication: Manage medical materials creation and distribution. * Real-World Evidence: Drive initiatives for post-marketing studies. * Regulatory Compliance: Ensure FDA and industry standard compliance. * Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the US Medical Affairs team. Required Skills * Medical Degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) required. * Board certification or relevant experience in cardiopulmonary disease preferred. * Experience in medical affairs leadership roles in pharmaceutical or biotech, especially in cardiopulmonary diseases, is preferred. * Strong understanding of US clinical development, medical education, and regulatory requirements. * Proven success in KOL engagement and stakeholder management. * Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences. * Strategic thinker with a creative and innovative approach. * Demonstrated leadership abilities to motivate cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
