Do you excel in providing personalized attention to patients with cardiac conditions? If so, we invite you to join our dynamic team as a Specialty Nurse in our Cardiology Clinic. About Us: Our Cardiology Clinic is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with various cardiac conditions. We prioritize compassion, innovation, and excellence in all aspects of our practice. As a Specialty Nurse in our clinic, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with leading cardiologists and a supportive team dedicated to improving the heart health of our community.Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with cardiac conditions, including health history, vital signs, and medication reconciliation. Assist cardiologists in performing diagnostic procedures such as stress tests, echocardiograms, and Holter monitoring. Educate patients about their cardiac condition, treatment options, medications, and lifestyle modifications. Coordinate patient care by scheduling appointments, referrals, and diagnostic tests as needed. Administer medications, perform wound care, and assist with minor procedures under the supervision of a physician. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.Qualifications Valid nursing license in Iowa Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Certification in Cardiac Nursing (e.g., AACN or ANCC) highly desirable. BLS and Mandatory Reporter certification required. Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
