Starting pay for the market: $25-30/hr Work Location: 5106 St Rte 111, Pontoon Beach, IL 62040 Shift Information: 2nd Shift. 3 PM to 2 AM: 4 10 hour rotating shifts with some weekends across 1 location. 2nd shift receives shift differential. 3rd Shift.9PM-7AM: 4 10 hour rotating shifts with some weekends across 1 location. 3rd shift receives shift differential. About the Role: What will you do? Servicing delivery vans and DOT vehicles for scheduled preventative maintenance at a client sitePerform line technician services such as oil changes and tire services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, and tire installationAdvanced repairs and state inspectionsTraining for this role may take place in a customer retail environment prior to working on the client siteBasic Requirements 2 years of experience performing qualified DOT regulated inspections, preventative maintenance, and brake related servicesMust have DOT Brake Certification, or be willing to obtain within 30 days of hireMust have a valid driver's license and meet DOT physical requirements, including being at least 21 years of agePreferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED preferredASE Certification (s)Previous experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests, electrical, air conditioning, and primary and advanced fuel ignition experienceBenefits At-a Glance: Comprehensive benefits package: Medical, Prescription drug, Vision, Dental, Wellness Program, Life insurance, 401(k) with company matching, Paid vacation/Sick Pay and holidays, Tuition Reimbursement & Employee Discounts and Safe work environmentOn-going Training and further career advancement opportunitiesAbout Us: Goodyear owns and operates more than 580 tire and auto service centers nationwide and this role would be joining our growing fleet business.
