Job Description : Winnetka family seeking an experienced Nanny for two children. The ideal candidate is seeking a long-term position with a loving family. Start May 2024. Schedule: Guaranteed 45-50 hours, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm. Schedule can be flexible depending on the candidate’s needs. Compensation : $1,350-$1,500/weekly + vacation, holidays, sick days. Job Details and Responsibilities: Two children—3.5-year-old and 1.5-year-old. The oldest child attends half-day Preschool and other activities. 1.5-year-old is home during the day with some planned activities outside the home. Primary responsibilities are the day-to-day care of the children including preparing healthy meals and snacks, changing diapers, coordinating and monitoring naps, and taking the children on walks and to activities. Light housekeeping includes tidying and organizing children’s areas, children’s laundry, children's dishes, and keeping track of children’s needs (groceries, supplies, diapers, etc.). Nanny should be knowledgeable regarding child development and milestones (potty training). Should be able to provide developmentally appropriate activities. Qualifications: Nanny should have verifiable nannying experience with multiple children. Nanny is looking for a long-term commitment with a family. Nanny should be high-energy and will be able to actively engage with the children. Nanny should be warm and caring. Will be able to foster a positive relationship with the children and the family. Reliable and communicative. Will make sure to arrive on time each day. Driving is required for the role. Family will provide a vehicle for the Nanny to use. COVID vaccination required.
