10459 – BI Consultant of Connected Car & Mobility Services Purpose: The CCS BI Consultant will play a pivotal role in implementing the future strategy of data analytic work areas related to connected cars and mobility services in collaboration with the HMC and client business units in the NA region. This role will be responsible for developing data infrastructure and surfacing key business insights that enable our clients and broader leadership teams to make data-informed decisions faster. Support the client business unit leaders by providing data-based strategic direction to identify and develop new business opportunities. Collaborate, coordinate, and perform the activities with a team of data analysts and data solution architects that provides data-driven business intelligence and strategic planning support for business segments. Leads initiatives to analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources. Essential Functions: • Lead a team of data analysts and developers to provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support, ensuring the successful implementation of data analytics & BI systems, successfuldelivery of various analysis reporting and visualizations, and capturing hidden insights from data analysis.• Oversight of build, development and maintenance of data models, quality of data, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics supporting key business decisions.• Lead the design and development of our end-to-end data pipeline, including ingestion of new telemetry data and service usage data, management of the ETL/ELT processes, organization of the data warehouse, and reporting within our data visualization tools.• Design and build data driven technical processes to address business issues.• Responsible for the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics.• Manage, scope and develop complex queries to enable the reporting of key business performance metrics, product analytics, and financial reporting.• Identify, analyze, and interpret large datasets for drivers and signals of trends and performance indicators to inform business decisions.• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for frontend and backend development processes and procedures.• Collect requirements from key stakeholders on an ongoing basis to ensure business logic and metric definitions are accurate and presented in a timely manner.• Database Proficiency: Expertise in SQL, particularly with Oracle databases under UNIX environments.• Work with executives from partner companies and use data intelligence to identify compelling trends and opportunities.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Basic Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in EDW, OLAP, ETL, data analysis, data modeling, and BI implementation.• Proven knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data visualization techniques.• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages for data manipulation and analysis.• Hands-on experience with BI tools such as ELK, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.• Proven experience in the Automotive Telematics or Telecommunication industry related fields is a plus.• Experience working in consulting or client-facing roles is preferred.• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.• Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.• Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in full stack development• Occasional travel may be required.As a CCS BI Consultant, you will play a crucial role in helping organizations unlock the value of their data and drive business growth.
