Electrical Engineer - PCB

Description:
Develop intricate printed circuit board layouts. Create and modify schematics as directed by engineers. Generate library symbols, footprints, and 3D drawings for components. Investigate and implement PCB design trends and processes. Conduct feasibility studies for packaging, cost, and system performance. Perform complex CAD and CAE tasks, ensuring compliance with design standards. Propose design trade-offs for resolution and implementation. Communicate with fabrication vendors and address engineering questions. Prioritize quality design and observe design for test and manufacturability principles. Understand impedance control requirements for electrical and RF circuits. Stay updated on PCB technology trends and apply them to our designs. Collaborate with various teams during the design and fabrication process. Resolve PCB design issues with vendors. Contribute to PCB design specifications and standards for product quality and cost-efficiency. Requirements Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent desired. Experience with Altium software for PCB/PCBA design with input from mechanical and electrical teams. Proficiency in Altium, or Mentor PCB Design software. Familiarity with Mechanical CAD tools (e.g., Siemens NX) is a plus. Strong knowledge of PCB design best practices and standards (e.g., IPC-A-610). Effective verbal and written communication skills. Experience in RF Circuit PCB design is preferred.
