Licensed Massage Therapist: Job DetailsLevel: Booth Renter/AssociateJob Location: Vera Massage and SpaPosition Type: Full Time/ Part TimeDescription and QualificationsMassage therapists treat clients by using touch to manipulate the muscles and other soft tissues of the body. With their touch, therapists relieve pain, help heal injuries, improve circulation, relieve stress, increase relaxation, and aid in the general wellness of clients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Talk with clients about their symptoms, medical history, and desired results Evaluate clients to locate painful or tense areas of the body Manipulate muscles and other soft tissues of the body Provide clients with guidance on stretching, strengthening, overall relaxation, and how to improve their posture Document clients’ conditions and progress Must comply with all company policies and procedures. To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance is required. Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers and interact with our guests. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None SERVICE PERCENTAGE 100% of all service Revenue EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or Equivalent Tennessee Massage Therapy License LANGUAGE SKILLS Must be able to communicate with other team members and guest MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Knowledge and understanding of basic math Money Handling REASONING ABILITY Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
