We are a Quality Rated program seeking individuals who are motivated, hardworking, and looking for growth. We are a very family-oriented team whose main goal is to love and service entire families, not just the children in our care. The growth potential at TSLA is phenomenal as we are the feeder preschool to a private Christian school located on the same premises. Duties Duties include but aren't limited to: Be the primary caregiver for up to four children in the classroomEngage children in activities and play that stimulates their developmentAppropriately supervise children while keeping them safe at all timesAssist children with activities of daily life (restroom use, diapering, hand washing) Approach parents daily and speak with them about their child(ren)Creating and maintaining an environment that is clean, organized, and safe for all childrenEstablish a professional level of rapport with each family in order to provide quality care and friendly serviceSupervise teacher aides in the classroom and ensure they are following program policy and customer service expectationsTrain any teacher aides in the classroom and direct them as to what duties need to be carried out throughout the dayPlan daily activities that are developmentally appropriate for young childrenConduct child assessments and facilitate parent-teacher conferencesAttend and engage in occasional parent participation events and other events that may be on nights and/or weekendsPrepare monthly parent newsletters and weekly lesson plans according to policyBe responsible for daily sheets and the daily activities pertaining to eating, sleeping, and diaper changingMaintain a professional self-image and project the values of the organization at all times Requirements The ideal candidate will possess the following: High School Diploma or equivalentChild Development Associate (CDA)3-5 years childcare experienceFirst Aid/CPR TrainingValid Driver's License ?
