Position Description Concordia University is seeking student applicants for the position of Graduate Assistant in the Athletics department Acrobatics and Tumbling program. This part-time position will be located on the CUW Mequon, WI Campus. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and be confirmed enrollees in a Concordia University graduate education program in good academic standing. Job Duties & Responsibilities Help Head Coach develop practice plans for safe progression of skills Complete recruiting duties, including but not limited to: Gym visits Overnight/weekend trips Imputing recruits information into recruiting database Meeting with recruits on campus and setting up visits Attend scheduled practices and travel with team for away meets Create engaging content for team social media accounts Meet day management (set up, takedown, etc) Assist head coach with office duties and other team needs Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Demonstrates effective leadership, organizational skills, and is a self-starter Exhibits a willingness and ability to work with diverse individuals and organizations Able to deal with interruptions and work in a fast-paced environment Able to present a Christian and professional manner Candidates should possess strong written and oral communications skills All candidates should possess an ability to meet deadlines Supportive of the mission and values of Concordia University Wisconsin/Ann Arbor and the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS) Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in a related field required Enrollment in a Concordia University graduate education program required Physical Demands/Equipment (Click to View) Application Instructions To receive full consideration, all applicants are asked to complete and submit an online employment application through the Concordia University Employment page.
