Work Location Pembroke, NC Position Description The IT Apprentice will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with a mentor. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals enrolled in a curriculum within with a focus in information technology. Responsibilities Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support Organize and maintain IT resources Lend IT support in areas such as Account Creation, Laptop Setups, Teams Setup, Email Setup, Smartsheet Setup Education/Qualifications Applicant must be enrolled(full-time or part-time) at Robeson Community College within the Cyber Security Support Technician 15-1212.00 occupation Related Instruction occupation. Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, O365, Virtual Machines, Veem, Exchange, Teams, Sharepoint, Azure Active Directory, OneDrive, Windows Defender Strong verbal and written communication Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work well in teams Strong work ethic and attention to detail Benefits Gain hands-on experience in an IT position Shadowing and training experiences with knowledgeable professionals Opportunity to attend networking events and company meetings Flexible schedule Compensation available Reports To The Information Technology Apprentice reports to the IT Manager. Security Clearance Requirements There is no clearance requirement for this position. Travel Requirements Travel is anticipated to be less than 5% within the Continental United States.
