The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience in practicing personal injury or civil litigation, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate proficiency in drafting legal documents and representing clients in various legal proceedings.Duties:Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders involved in personal injury cases.Take and defend depositions to gather evidence and testimonies crucial to case development.Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Lead mediations to negotiate settlements and resolve disputes outside of court when possible.Develop comprehensive case strategies tailored to each client's unique circumstances.Represent clients in trials, presenting arguments and evidence to support their claims.Requirements:Minimum of 2+ years of experience practicing personal injury or civil litigation.Licensed and in good standing with the South Carolina State Bar.Proficient in drafting and responding to motions.Substantial knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the South Carolina State Bar.Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Proficiency in legal research and writing.Negotiation and mediation skills.
