The successful candidate will be responsible for representing clients in the courtroom, including jury trials. The attorney will play a crucial role in the legal proceedings, advocating for clients in a courtroom setting. The position requires a Virginia law license and exceptional interpersonal skills, complemented by strong research and writing abilities. Duties:Represent clients in various legal proceedings, with a focus on jury trials.Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders to negotiate settlements or resolve disputes.Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as necessary.Stay informed about changes in the law and legal precedents relevant to the firm's practice areas.Provide legal advice and guidance to clients based on thorough analysis and interpretation of laws. Requirements:2+ years of litigation experience (plaintiff or defense).Strong preference for candidates with personal injury trial experience.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Solid research and writing abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Active membership in good standing with the Virginia State Bar. Skills:Litigation expertise.Legal research and analysis.Written and verbal communication.Negotiation and settlement skills.Case management.Attention to detail.Time management.
