The ideal candidate will have a strong background in conducting workplace investigations, public sector law, or labor/employment, and exceptional research, writing, and presentation skills.Duties:Conduct thorough and impartial workplace investigations.Provide legal advice and representation to public sector clients.Research legal issues and prepare documents, including memoranda, briefs, and opinions.Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop effective legal strategies.Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.Requirements:Admitted to the California State Bar in good standing.Minimum 2 years of experience conducting workplace investigations.Strong academic record with a focus on law.Title IX experience is strongly preferred.Experience in Public Sector/Education law preferred.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admitted to the California State Bar.Skills:Proficient in conducting thorough and unbiased investigations.Excellent research and writing abilities.Strong presentation and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Desire to continually learn and develop within the legal field.
