Volt is immediately hiring Sit down Forklift Operator in Portland, ORAs a Forklift Operator you will: * Use a sit down, pallet jacks to load/unload trucks in warehouse. * Transport inventory via forklift and other warehouse equipment to and from the loading/unloading/staging areas. * Accurately pick merchandise/inventory from warehouse locations/racking using forklift, stock pickers, reach trucks, pallet jacks * Perform general warehouse duties and operate equipment. * Operate safely, adhering to all OSHA and site- specific standards.Requirement: * 6 months+ recent forklift operation, specifically with sit down experience * Ability to consistently lift up to 25 lbs. * Ability to walk/stand for entire shift. * Available to work weekends and occasional overtime * Candidates selected must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirement. * Ability to successfully pass a safety forklift certification test at customer site.This is a full-time Contract opportunity. Schedule: 2nd shift 2:30 pm-1 amDuration: 12+ MonthsPay Range: $18 to $19.50 per hour.*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
