RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the development of engineering plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E)Work as part of a team to complete general transportation engineering services for municipal, county, and state agenciesResolve engineering problems and tasks as they are assigned, with help as needed from more experienced staffWork closely with project managers to establish project timelines and designsDevelop diagrams and visual aids and prepare design specificationsExecute project based on outlined criteriaAssist in the preparation of grant applications, reports and feasibility studies POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Provide good and effective written/verbal communication skillsProficient in the use of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word)Proficient in the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D, preferredMust have a valid driver?s licenseMust complete a background check EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering1 - 3 years of civil engineering experience related to site design, land development and land use permittingExperience with AutoCADStrong organizational, analytical, communication skills and design skills BENEFITS: Competitive compensation package with comprehensive benefits; including: Health Insurance, 401K, Holiday Leave, Vacation Leave, Long Term Disability, and more.
