Company seeking a motivated Research Associate II, Biochemistry with expertise in protein biochemistry or bioengineering to join their team. You'll play a key role in developing processes for neurodegeneration therapeutics, focusing on lipoprotein therapeutics development. Responsibilities * Independently conduct experiments and analyze biochemical and biophysical properties. * Perform formulation screening and characterization of biologics-based drugs. * Assist in developing methods for creating novel lipoprotein nanoparticles. * Analyze data and maintain electronic records. * Collaborate with and support other teams in a cross-functional setting. Required Skills * BA/BS or master's degree in biochemistry or related field. * 1-2+ years of relevant work experience or undergraduate research. * Experience in basic biochemistry bench techniques: electrophoresis, protein quantitation, microplate reader assays, protein handling, sub-visible particle counting, HPLC, viscometry. * Knowledge of biophysical techniques: circular dichroism, SEC-MALS, SPR, DLS (preferred). * Familiarity with separation techniques: preparative chromatography, TFF (a plus). * Strong understanding of protein biochemistry (undergraduate coursework acceptable).
