Early and late shift rotating 4 day working week on late shift Shift Supervisor position location: Birstall The focus will be on the achievement of building efficiencies, considering at all-time safety of your colleagues, quality performance, on-time delivery, and the implementation of efficiency procedures to maximise production. The primary role of the Shift supervisor position is to lead and motivate the team to succeed within a fast-moving manufacturing environment. We would welcome people to apply who have worked within coach building or vehicle building and have a track record in leading, supervising or managing teams. We would welcome people to apply who may have also worked as a charge hand, foreman, team leader, etc The ideal candidate would also have a background in coach building, and vehicle building. Motorhome, rolling stock/train or Bus building. However, we would also like to speak to people who have experience working in fast-paced manufacturing or engineering. Key Responsibilities of a Shift Supervisor role. Work with Production and Workshop Managers to ensure the team achieve their targeted KPIs on safety, quality and delivery. Have strong leadership skills, enforce company policies where applicable and ensure the high standards set by the company are always maintained. Attend and actively participate in daily and weekly meetings. Increase the speed and efficiency of manufacturing processes without compromising safety or quality. Work closely with other Managers to highlight any issues/improvements that can be made to existing products and support the release of new products.
