Senior Geotechnical Engineer : Aberdeen Starting salary: GBP36,000 : GBP44,000 This is an opportunity for a talented and ambitious Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join a UK leading, multidisciplinary engineering consultancy, acquire chartership and take your career to new heights. The successful Senior Geotechnical Engineer will join the Aberdeen branch, where you will work alongside a team of highly skilled geotechnical/civil engineers on some of the UKs most innovative projects. This Senior Geotechnical Engineer role offers: Fantastic starting salary (GBP36:44,000) Full benefits package (car, pension and health benefits) Full professional support towards chartership Regular pay reviews and performance: based bonuses Opportunity to work on a wide range of innovative projects across a variety of sectors Clear career progression routes Flexible working Company Senior Main duties of this Principal Geotechnical Engineer role include: Take on responsibility for a variety of projects for a range of clients Writing and reviewing factual and interpretative reports Ensure projects are completed within financial and time budgets Geotechnical design (foundations, slope stability, retaining walls etc) Developing the geotechnical team and supporting the geoenvironmental team Mentoring junior engineers The suitable senior geotechnical engineer should be educated to degree level in geotechnical engineering/civil engineering/engineering geology, have a full UK drivers licence and live local to Aberdeen. You should have a suitable number of years consultancy experience and be prepared to work towards chartership.
