The Workforce Development team provides support to those who are unemployed or under-employed with specific skills training and employment supports for attachment with employers in various sectors. What You Will Do Perform case management duties, which include backssment, goal setting and the development of action plans with clients, ongoing intervention, re backssment, case termination, and follow up. backssment duties to include administering a range of backssment tests including skills-based, occupational, and educational tests and using results to help clients explore options and make decisions about training and employment opportunities. Work collaboratively with training facilitator to support clients’ active and successful participation in training programs. This could include problem solving and client support around attendance, behaviour, comprehension, and other barriers to success. Facilitate information sessions and workshops as needed. Support clients in the use of an online platform to explore job opportunities. Conduct in person (as possible), online, social media and phone-based outreach activities to attract and screen clients for programs and services. Conduct program information sessions and performs intake activities. Locate and contact potential employers and finds job opportunities for clients.
