Production Manager Permanent 8.30am : 5.00pm Blackburn : Office based role A GBP 40,000 : A GBP 50,000 DOE The Company: Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are working along side a company who produce and recycle steel in the UK and are now on the look out for a Production Manager to join the Operations Team and reporting directly to the Operations Director. The responsibilities of the production manager: Overall responsibility of the companies production team (Circa 60 staff members) Be responsible for planning staffing rotations, planning of stock availability and order fulfilment inline with the production needs Help to train and advice staff members into the company Provide clear direction for the production team PPM scheduling and planning Assist with Budget control within the production team. Oversee H and S practices are implementing throughout the team and adhered to company policies. People management : overall management of the production team, involved in recruitment of new members, coverage for over: time/sickness when required. Experience Required: Must have previous production/operational management experience within an engineering/Manufacturing background Flexible when business needs are required Ideally will need experience within a project management position Must be able to work well and grow relationships with other managers within the business Must have a professional approach to work and tasks within the work place Happy to work outside of hours to attend meetings and events if required For more information on the Quality Manager role or for a confidential chat, please call Jade Lawlor on today.
