Financial Reporting Systems Analyst Worcester based with a balance of home and office working GBP 46,241 : GBP 55,253 per year 35 hours per week We have an opportunity for a Financial Reporting Systems Analyst to join our Finance Reporting team, based in Worcester. This role sits within Group Financial Services which is responsible for all aspects of accounting for the Group. This includes the provision of financial and management accounting services, financial analysis and preparation of annual budgets. The role of Financial Reporting Systems Analyst will include: : Support the finance team by developing high quality reporting, working in partnership with the directorate reporting teams to maintain, specify and develop financial reports: Supporting financial month end, delivering financial data to drive periodic reporting, quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting and the management of significant projects: Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers to ensure effective service delivery and compliance with regulatory requirements: Challenge and educate users in master data management to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data and processes: Highlighting and investigating issues that arise, and having the mind set to proactively solve problems: Create and maintain planning and forecasting models as per requirements, ensuring the data is accurate and up: to: date Skills and experiences: : CIMA, ACCA or ACA Qualification or finalist, with an interest in systems accounting: Experience in a problem solving role, with the ambition to resolve issues that arise: Strong accounting knowledge and demonstrable experience in data extraction and reconciliation with an attention to detail: Confident user of Microsoft.
