Join our team, Westguard is seeking a Scheduler to help support the operations in the Lower Mainland. Job Description: As a Scheduler , you will be responsible for logging information, and Scheduling staff, accordingly, conducting various audits and ensuring that security patrol duties are completed. What you would do: Schedules employees 2 weeks in advance. Scheduling hourly employees which also includes coordinating with employees regarding vacation/leave requests. Provides exceptional customer service to all clients, guards, prospective clients and Securiguard representatives. Manages and organizes scheduling and dispatching guards for all sites. Liaison with the Operations Mangers & Recruiters on the operational needs daily. Ensures all site-specific requirements are met before guards are mobilized to site, i. e. security licenses, driver licenses, drug. Works closely with the Operations Manager, Resource Deployment to provide additional support whenever needed. Coordinates with guards according to availability, suitability, and preference. Managing and overseeing hourly employee information changes and general communications What You Bring A minimum of 1 Year experience as a scheduler is required. Ability to handle stressful situations and high volumes of calls. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail orientated with excellent organizational skills Must be reliable, of sound character and a team-player.
