Chef : Part Time Goodwin Court, East Barnet EN4 GBP 12.16 30 hours per week We're seeking an enthusiastic and committed Chef to deliver a high: quality catering service within our Taste Restaurant at Goodwin Court. You will also manage the food and staffing budget, along with the purchase and control of stock. Set opposite the picturesque Oakhill Park in East Barnet, Goodwin Court provides apartments and communal facilities for over 55s. Goodwin Court provides support to a diverse group of people, including those with learning and physical disabilities. If you want to make a positive impact to people's lives, this is a rewarding opportunity to come and work within an established and experienced team. Our Taste restaurant is open to customers and members of the public from 12:1:30pm seven days a week for lunch. Our Chefs will enjoy steady hours with no split: shifts compared to other areas of the catering world, which may be a good choice if you have a family to consider or you don't necessarily want to be working late nights. If you want to create restaurant style food without the restaurant style hours, this is a great opportunity to hone your skill set whilst helping to create innovative menus for our customers in a relaxed environment. Though we refer to the position as Chef, it is also known as Demi Chef, Line Chef, Cook, Chef de Partie (CDP) and Commis Chef.
