My client is looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to work on a high rise PRS scheme in Birmingham City Centre. You will be responsible for management of logistics on site, gates, deliveries, security logistics, fire checks etc. This is a long term freelance opportunity, with the potential to go perm for the right candidate. Site Establishment Co: ordinate the set: up of temporary site accommodation, welfare facilities and site hoarding/fencing. Supervising a traffic management plan for the site. Responsible for coordinating service companies and the provision of live temporary services to the site compound. Logistics Management Generally Delivery scheduling, supply chain interrogation with support from software systems. Traffic, vehicle and plant movements Material offloading, and distribution to point of use Logistics Management Plan : develop, implement and manage; On site material management Waste Management : develop, implement and manage. To plan, coordinate and implement day: to: day activities to facilitate smooth progression of a construction project, in line with the construction programme. Liaise and report to the Project Manager on overall site logistics issues including programme, deliveries, health and safety, quality and cost issues. Attend Progress Review meetings as required; Lead and facilitate Delivery Management weekly meetings Traffic Management Plan : develop, implement and manage. Compile and keep up to date site records and site diary. Plant management in compliance with LOLER, PUWER, Statutory Inspections. Temporary Services Management, both on site and interface with Utilities. Temporary Fire Management Plan, develop, implement and record keeping.
