The Cake Crew is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our bakery team. The pupose of the role is to maintain, develop and implement the food safety and quality ethos, ensuring compliance with customer and BRC standards and to evolve the quality and effectiveness of our products. Who are The Cake Crew? We are a North Wales based, family owned bakery supplying a range of bakery products, mainly cupcakes, to all the major supermarkets through the UK. With a worforce of around 250 employees we are proud to be a multi national employer and welcome applications from all backgrounds and abilities. All we ask is that you meet the criteria of the role and you have the right to work in the UK. Who will you be? You will have excellent communication, organisation and decision making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. This is a role for an active manager, with total involvement in the factory and must have a motivational and inspirational approach. You will be looking to join a company where you can develop, implement and maintain the standards expected by the Company and customers. Must have awareness of retailer standards and their codes of Practice also knowledge of BRC V9 standard and retailer standards (Sainsburys, Tesco, Morrisons, ASDA, Lidl, Aldi) and be able to work effectively on your own initiatives. What will you be responsible for? Working closely with a dedicated team to ensure the satisfaction of both customers and the company's own requirements. Collaborating extensively with customers and various departments, ensuring that projects run according to plan while actively seeking feedback at each stage. Use root cause analysis techniques to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively. Comprehensive understanding of shelf-life result interpretation, customer code of practice, food legislation, and legal requirements - this is crucial.
