Perini Management Services Inc., is seeking an in-person Estimator I at our Home office in Framingham, Massachusetts As an Estimator I at Perini Management Services, reporting to the Chief Estimator, you will have the opportunity to work on unique and exciting U.S. Federal Government construction projects. Description: Review project solicitation documents and perform quantity take-off Solicit subcontractor/vendor quotations and distribute solicitation documents Assist with and develop scope of work packages to define project work requirements Assist with and evaluate subcontractor/vendor proposals to ensure accuracy in scope (Quantities, schedule, inclusions, exclusions, etc.) Assist with and prepare subcontractor/vendor price analysis sheets Skills: Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to read and understand construction documents Good interpersonal skills including phone calls to subcontractors and vendors Ability to solicit and evaluate subcontractor and/or vendor proposals Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Excel and Word) Working knowledge of take-off software a plus Good organizational and analytical skills a plus Experience: Two (2) or more years of experience in the construction industry with estimating experience Experience with commercial or Government projects a plus Experience with a construction material supplier and quantity take-off a plus Additional Information: Easy access to Framingham MA office location Competitive Compensation and Health and Welfare Benefits Growth opportunities within large estimating department About Perini Management Services At home or abroad, our focus is on client satisfaction Perini Management Services, Inc. is a full service construction firm that knows how to get the job done, even under the most complex circumstances.
