Job Overview: As a CNC Milling Machine Operator and Programmer, you will be a crucial part of our manufacturing process, responsible for producing intricate components using a 3: axis CNC milling machine. Your role will encompass a variety of tasks, from working with forgings and castings to programming both at the control and offline using CAM Works software. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with our team to define and prioritize manufacturing goals and production schedules that align with our commitment to excellence. Maximize the efficiency of the milling section, working diligently to meet critical deadlines for customer deliveries and our esteemed vehicle builds. Conduct meticulous inspections of your work and that of your peers at the machine, demonstrating a proactive approach to learning, including potential CMM operations. Operate a range of production machines as directed, contributing to the seamless flow of our manufacturing process. Provide essential support to our fitting and assembly department, utilizing your manual milling, turning, surface grinding, and bench fitting skills. Take charge of creating and maintaining workshop data, including setting sheets for new products and works order route cards.
