A Technical Sales Support / Applications Engineer role, working as part of a very experienced sales team. Mainly focussed on preparation of quotations with a Worldwide and UK market leading manufacturer of packaging and filling machinery sold into the beverage market. BASIC SALARY: up to A GBP 45,000 BENEFITS: + Annual Bonus + Choice of Company Car + 5 Pension + Private Healthcare + Life Assurance and Critical illness cover LOCATION: Covering the UK and Ireland this is a home based role with regular travel to client sites Ideally you will be living on or within one of the M1, M62, M6, M5 or M4 motorway corridors. COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS : Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol, Nottingham, Milton Keynes JOB DESCRIPTION: This is a technical sales support / applications engineering role, working as part of an experienced technical sales team covering the UK and Ireland. Your main task will be preparation of quotations for clients. There is no set financial target as an individual, you will instead be targeted on agreed KPIs. Full product training at Induction and ongoing support form a nominated mentor. PERSON SPECIFICATION: A You WILL have experience of working in a similar role for a company supplying or working within the beverage or food industries. A Previous technical sales support or applications engineer experience would be advantageous. A You MUST be a qualified mechanical engineer. ideally to HNC+ level. THE COMPANY: Working for the very well established UK Sales and Service office for a worldwide and UK market leading manufacturer of packaging and filling machinery supplied to the beverage industry in the UK and Ireland. This is a new role as part of ongoing plan to build up the UK sales team to continue its very impressive growth.
