Design Technician GBP30,000 : GBP35,000 Peterborough, UK Full time, Permanent An innovative and socially conscious company is currently seeking a design technician to contribute to their impactful residential projects. This is a great opportunity to combine your knowledge of RIBA Stage 4:7 and your desire to be a part of projects that genuinely make a difference. This company has a well: established project pipeline, now looking for a motivated individual who can get in at the beginning of this exciting journey. As a Design Technician you will: Collaborate with architects to translate concepts to practical manufacturing designs. Create accurate Bills of Materials. Identify potential production challenges and work proactively to address them. Contribute to the continuous improvement of design and manufacturing processes. Embody a proactive attitude and initiative: driven approach to propel projects forward. Ideally you will: Have a background in Design for Manufacture, preferably in Modular Buildings. Proficiency in Auto CAD and/or Revit software, and if you also have previous knowledge of BIM this would be of particular interest. Be passionate about sustainability, and be socially empathetic. This is a great opportunity to engage in projects which have a direct contribution to helping others and the environment.
