Plant Manager Middlesbrough / Teeside to c GBP75k (neg dep exp) + exceptional benefits Our client is part of a multi: billion: pound global organisation employing more than 70,000 staff in over 100 countries and are recognised market leaders in their niche manufacturing sector. As a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced Plant Manager to complement their established and professional team covering both the Middlesbrough and Teeside chemical manufacturing facilities. Tasked with managing all aspects of production and maintenance (both people and plant/equipment) at the Middlesbrough and Teeside hydrogen plants safely, reliably and efficiently, as Plant Manager you will be accountable for the safe, reliable, efficient and sustainable operations of the plant operations, with success in the role measured through monthly cost and KPI reports, SAP PM task completion, Cost of Downtime and overall maintenance spend. In addition, the role requires the highest standards in visible SHEQ leadership, to ensure SHEQ activities and standards are embedded in the line and to ensure that the sites comply with regulations, in particular with respect to the COMAH regulations. You will also be responsible for the line management, deployment, welfare and development of direct reports and those indirectly reporting as part of the team, ensuring their competence to operate and maintain the plants safely and efficiently. Other duties will include being responsible for co: ordination with the Remote Operating Centre, Central Engineering and Reliability resources as well as any third: party service providers required to achieve objectives, whilst having extensive day to day liaison with customers (internal and external) as well as providing support for the Tonnage Account Managers as required.
