Senior Network Engineer Cisco Pay Rate: 50 - 65/hour Location: Hybrid in Orlando, FL Duration / Position Type: 12+ mo. Contract One of our top clients is in the midst of a major transformation project and is searching for a Sr. Network engineer to join their efforts. They are currently in the design phase, so an ideal candidate is one who can design and replace core switches, complete major circuit upgrades, and refresh the wireless. Additionally, this candidate should have experience with LAN and WAN, and be able to lead and/or mentor more junior engineers. Here's what you'll be doing: Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting LAN and WAN networks and associated assemblies Assisting in the implementation of network architectures, including LAN/WANs, LAN inter-networking and connections with the WAN environment Mentoring and/or guiding Network Engineering team in locating the necessary tools and process to identify troublesome trends as they develop Introducing and integrating new technologies into existing data center environment Here's what our ideal candidate has: 8+ years in related roles with experience in design, architecture, firewall installation, and infrastructure cabling Hands-on leadership experience CCNP and CCSA or equivalent certifications Bachelor's degree in IT or related Preferred Skills not required: CCSE Checkpoint or related firewall engineering certification MCSA certificate Cloud computing experience in migration, instillation and/or administration Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision Keywords: Network Engineer, CCNP, CCSA, Lan, Wan, Firewall, switches, circuit, wireless Note: U.
