Software Test Engineer Recruit Mint have partnered with a leading manufacturer in the communications space based in Peterborough and they have an opportunity for a Software Test Engineer to join the team. You will be a fundamental part of the Software Development Team who design and develop air traffic control communications solutions typically exporting to 80 countries a year. Job Role Carry out software design and development to meet project requirements The focus will be on PC/server software, but with potential opportunities to work on an embedded platform too Carry out software automated test design, development and execution Detailed design of test suites, with guidance Test program development, debug and test Test plan execution Test report writing Technical documentation Person Specification Essential Experience in a software test role Experience of programming in C# or Python Familiar with defect reporting tools Desirable Experience of automating testinteractionperience with one or more software test frameworks e. g. Selenium, Robot, Py Test ISTQB-qualified Understanding of networking technologies Use of Continuous Integration tools e. g. Jenkins/Hudson, Travis, Team City Experience of using Source Control tools e. g. git Experience in one or more of the following technologies: SQL, SNMP, REST API, Vo IP, E1, GRPC, Blazor, Windows OS, Linux OS, Microsoft. NET /.
