JOB: Legal Assistant / Secretary LOCATION: Holmes Chapel with free on site parking SALARY: DOEHours: Monday - Friday 9.00 am - 5.30 pm or 8.30 am to 5.00 pm Holiday: 25 days per year plus bank holidays-Experienced Family / Private Client Legal Assistant to join the team on a full -time permanent basis. -You must be personable and able to deal with people on all levels. Your Role You will be a key member of the team acting as a point of contact for clients and third parties involved in legal matters. You'll work closely with solicitors to support them with any administrative tasks as well as working hard to provide exceptional client service. What You'll Be Doing-Communicating with clients and third parties on behalf of directors and other solicitors in the family team-Undertaking legal tasks such as completing court forms-Supporting in the preparation of court bundles-Managing solicitor diaries, booking meetings, preparing agendas and minute taking-Opening and closing files, administrative management of cases (including handling new client enquiries) and dealing with all matter maintenance What We're Looking For-Legal Assistant experience working within a law firm environment, ideally with particular experience in Family Law. - Knowledge of Private Client Law would be advantageous, but training for Legal Assistance will be provided in relation to Wills, Trusts, Probate, Powers of Attorney- The ability to work efficiently under pressure and to prioritise workload- Problem solving, a positive and friendly team player, and a 'can do' attitude, particularly in relation to digital ways of working- Brilliant client care skills and good verbal and written communication skills-Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
