JOB DESCRIPTION The District Sales Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling the total selling effort within the assigned territory; achieving territory sales budget objectives and plans assigned; controlling and monitoring sale expense budgets conforming to the expense plan guidelines, ensuring distribution objectives are attained as assigned on consistent bases for the professional horticultural product line; establishing territory, distributor, and account objectives and developing plans for their accomplishments; managing and communicating distributors in the territory maintaining a level playing fields.
