The Role We are on the search for a General Manager for a growing location in Newmarket, ON. Responsibilities: Responsible for growing sales and providing exemplary customer service Manage and drive revenue streams: memberships, private training, teacher training and retail Generate and achieve personal sales goals, while training and assisting Sales Reps to meet their numbers Overseeing studio procedures, managing staff and scheduling Recognize areas of improvement and using sound decision making to implement change Requirements: The right candidate will have excellent sales and management expertise 2+ years of Management experience 2+ years of retail/service sales and/or fitness sales experience Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email Ability to excel in a fast changing, diverse environment. An affinity and passion for fitness. Solid writing and grammar skills. Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Professional, punctual, reliable and neat. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information.
