We are looking for a bright self-starter who can assist our firm's current real estate paralegal with the conveyancing side of our practice. Some assistance with the corporate side of our practice will also form a part of the role. A non-exhausting list of tasks to expect are as follows: • client intake• opening files on e Conveyance• ordering strata documents• obtaining insurance binder• ordering payout statements from lenders• entering values into our accounting software (ESI Law)• generating purchase, sale, and financing documents• assisting with trust reconciliation• generating invoices Responsibilities: • Be prompt and courteous toward staff and clients• value confidentiality in the spirit of solicitor-and-client privilege• own your work• occasional bank runs (attending to the bank for deposits)• greeting clients• collection and scanning of identification• ordering and receiving couriers, preparing mail and courier packages going out Qualifications: • good interpersonal skills• High proficiency with Microsoft Office (MS Word and Outlook)• Familiarity with ESI Law and e Conveyance is preferred but not required• at least 2 years of experience working at a law firm• a 'can-do' attitude Compensation: $55,000 - $60,000 yearly About Company: Logica Law is a beautiful modern law office located on the Yaletown side of False Creek.
