The ideal candidates should be organized, decisive, attentive, and possess a strong understanding of procedures for the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of industrial electrical equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls. JOB DUTIES: • Establish routine maintenance and repair of electrical equipment, installations, and circuits according to specifications; • Perform testing of electrical and electronic equipment and its components for current, voltage and resistance; • Inspect and repair electrical gear, including switchboxes, cable, lighting fixtures, feeders, etc.• Conduct inspection and testing of equipment for any electrical malfunctions; • Use test instruments to diagnose problems; work from blueprints, drawings, layout, or other specifications to locate and diagnose trouble in electrical motors, generators, alternators, and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems; • Perform equipment testing after installation or maintenance of electrical components; • Compile and maintain all information and relevant documentation; • Work within the guidelines of OHS at all times. EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS: • High School Diploma or equivalent; • At least 2 years of related experience as an Industrial Electrician; • Ability to read and understand drawings and.
