Job Summary: Troubleshooting, assessing, repairing, refurbishing, and retrofitting low and medium-voltage circuit breakers Perform low and medium voltage circuit breaker repairs Perform low and medium voltage circuit breaker refurbishment Perform low voltage circuit breaker ETU replacements and retrofits Perform low and medium voltage final QC testing Document steps taken and test results Maintain documentation of work performed Qualifications: Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for this position. 3 years of assessing and troubleshooting low and medium voltage circuit breakers 3 years of repairing and rebuilding low and medium voltage circuit breakers Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring schematics Ability to perform primary injection testing of circuit breakers In-depth knowledge of common breaker manufacturers and vintages Organized and attention to detail Live in Kansas City general area 5+ years of circuit breaker rebuilding, preferred Familiar with PEARL standards, preferred Skills: Good work ethic. Attention to detail. Math skills. Motivated: Demonstrates self-motivation, self-control, persistence and overcomes obstacles; measures self against standard of excellence. Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem solving situations. Able to perform a wide variety of physical tasks related to electrical work.
