Kintaro Ramen is a small ramen shop located in Downtown Arlington across from UTA. We are looking to add to our kitchen staff. We offer the opportunity to learn new dishes with our rotating entrees and new ramen specials each month as well as preparing the more typical Tonkotsu and Paitan done the Kintaro style. We're a great place for first time cooks or experienced chefs who are interested in learning more about ramen. Whether you're a student looking for a summer job or just coming out of culinary school, we have a place for you. We look forward to meeting you! We are looking for full time, with both morning and evening shifts, but willing to consider part time. Requirements/Responsibilities Responsiblities:Set up and stocking stations with all necessary suppliesPrepare food for service (e.g. cutting vegetables or preparing sauces)Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff per Kintaro guidelinesAnswer, report and follow Kitchen Manager’s instructionsClean up station nightly as well as weekly cleaning projectsStock inventory appropriatelyEnsure that food comes out simultaneously with focus on presentation and speedComply with sanitation regulations and safety standardsMaintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers Requirments:18yrs or olderFood Handler CertificateAble to read and follow standardized recipesAccuracy and speed in executing assigned tasksAble to lift 50lbs Special Instructions ZippyApp is the Common Employment Application for online and mobile that allows you to apply for jobs with one click, and is being accepted at a growing number of businesses each day.
