Heavy Equipment Operator Type: Full time Compensation: Hourly, South Dakota Prevailing Wage Rates Position Overview The Heavy Equipment Operator is required to excavate, move, grade, and/or compact earth under general supervision of a Field Foreman in a safe, effective, and appropriate manner. Routine maintenance and repair to equipment in addition to other duties are also required. Heavy equipment may include trucks, front-end loaders, scrapers, dozers, graders, compactors, snow blowers and other pieces of equipment. The Heavy Equipment Operator must also clean and ensure all equipment is in proper condition . Please provide past 5 season experience to include equipment operated and type of work performed.
