Summary The 1-on-1 Learning Group Seeking a dependable teaching assistant to work 30 hours per week with a small licensed preschool learning group (family day home) in Henrico County. Must be dependable, possess a strong work ethic, and have experience working with children. Part-time Assistant- Daily: Monday - Friday: 10:00am-5:00pm 15-minute on-site work break/ 45 Minute Lunch Break Duties Duties: Include leading activities, preparing and administering snacks and lunches, supervising outdoor and indoor play times, diapering (if necessary), cleaning school areas, and helping to prepare daily sheets. Also assisting in extracurricular activities such as holiday parties and graduations. Requirements Job Requirements: Ages 20 years and older. Experience working with small children. A national background check and Child Protective Service check will be required. CPR/First aid certification is needed but can be provided to you if needed. Education requirements: High School Diploma. Higher Education Degree is a plus. Benefits Starting Pay: $13/hr with at least 1 year of relevant work experience (childcare in a center, school, family day home, program/service or for a family). $14/hr with 13 months -2 years of relevant work experience (childcare in a center, school, family day home, program/service, or for a family) $15/hr with 3 or more years of relevant work experience (childcare in a center, school, family day home, program/service, or for a family) About Us The 1-on-1 Learning Group is a licensed, family day home located in Glen Allen Virginia. We are Christian based organization that believe in catering to the development of the whole child (intellectual, physical, mental and spiritual). We pair both fun play-based group learning with 1-on-1 individualized learning experiences that allow for a comprehensive learning environment for every child. We also offer a small intimate group environment that aids in fostering positive relationships with our students and families. We are a learners, we are friends, we are family!
