Job Title: Office ManagerProgram: Housing & Energy ServicesLocation: 588 Morrison St. Warehouse, Watertown NYClassification: Regular Full-time Non-exemptWork Hours: 40 hours per week (10 Hour work day M-Th) with occasional evening hours Position Grade: 5Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour plus benefitsReports To: Director of Housing & Energy ServicesJOB SUMMARY: The Office Manager is responsible for providing clerical support, assisting with the intake process, collecting program data, maintaining inventory records and office files. The Office Manager will become knowledgeable of the Weatherization policies and procedures manual and its implementation. She/he is expected to ensure both client and agency confidentiality at all times; perform job duties ethically, responsibly, and professionally; and contribute to a positive work environment.EDUCATION: Associate Degree in Business Management, Office Technology or a related field preferred.WORK EXPERIENCE: Experience in office technology, and compiling and maintaining program statistical data required.SKILLS:Must display a high degree of organizational skills and time managementMust have excellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent computer skills required with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointExperience with QuickBooks preferredMust be willing to work as a member of a teamExperience in construction terminology preferredAbility to balance multiple prioritiesAbility to be non-judgmental in working with customersOTHER REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to provide independent transportation to perform job duties and possess a valid driver's license.Preference is given to qualified in-house candidates.Employment is conditional pending completion of a successful criminal background clearance. Preference is given to qualified in-house candidates and/or candidates with window and door installation, heating repair and replacement experience.Community Action is a Smoke-Free and Substance-Free workplace.
