If so, then we have the job for you!Volt is immediately hiring for a Test & Repair Technician 3 in Everett, WA. * Flexible Day Shift: Monday - Friday * Every other Friday off * Weekly Paycheck * Monthly Employee Appreciation Events * Family Owned * In business for 50+ yearsAs a Test & Repair Technician you will: * Troubleshoot and repair items of high/advanced complexity - including but not limited to electronic components, subassemblies, assemblies, and/or instruments - according to defined procedures and instructions. * Functional testing of items that are of high/advanced complexity - including but not limited to electronic components, subassemblies, assemblies, and/or instruments - according to defined procedures and instructions. * Be able to help train level 1 and 2 Test Technicians * Identify failure trends, collect data, and present to supervisors and engineering * Review and redline documentation errors for prompt/timely modifications and corrections * Actively suggest ideas for process improvements and cost savings (improve time, reduce waste, etc.)This is a full-time roleThe ideal candidate will have * Associate's Degree in Electronics or higher is preferred * More than five years of practical experience working with complex electronic test equipment in a troubleshooting and repair environment * Military or trade school training in electronics including digital and analog theory and solid state circuitry * Demonstrated proficiency in reading, interpreting, and understanding written requirements, procedures and specification in relation to the task to be performed * Demonstrated proficiency in reading, interpreting, and understanding wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, circuit schematics, engineering changes orders and customer service repair instructions * Intermediate-level soldering skill required * Ability to work with all types of electronic test equipment * Strong focus and attention to detail * Excellent problem solving and decision making skills * Comfortable working with computers and quickly learning/mastering new software and programs * Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft SuitePay Rate: $ 29.00-$34.00/hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
