Quick Supply Company is a nationally recognized family-owned and locally operated company. We are excited to continue to grow and are hiring a Credit & Collections Analyst in our Ankeny, Iowa office. Position : Credit and Collections Analyst Position Overview Our Credit and Collections Analysts work directly with our customers to help provide service to new and existing accounts. They will be responsible for building rapport with new and existing accounts to help setup new customer accounts. The analyst will be responsible for communicating discrepancies or issues on accounts and resolving past due accounts. Responsibilities of the Position Process credit applications for new customer accounts and evaluate credit worthiness Complete new customer account setup Assist with approval/denial of orders on hold and review questionable accounts for changes in their credit worthiness Contact customers regarding past due balances Communicate and negotiate with customers to resolve discrepancies and/or issues with their account Recommend and implement appropriate actions to be taken on delinquent accounts Prepare monthly reports summarizing past due accounts and make recommendations for bad debt write offs Assist manager in daily and long-term duties and responsibilities relating to credit and collections Qualifications Bachelor's degree required with business or accounting preferred 2+ years of credit, collections and customer service experience required Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to communicate with individuals throughout all levels of the organization and customers alike Customer focused and ability to quickly establish and cultivate relationships Quality-driven and results-oriented Ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, dependable and a team player Pay and Benefits We offer a competitive starting pay rate based on experience.
