The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.Duties:Handle the firm’s litigation files in the appropriate forum.Outline or oversee appropriate actions, including creating legal strategy and budget for assigned cases.Ensure action plans for assigned cases are implemented and completed.Draft, review, and sign various pleadings and other court filings.Act as a liaison between the firm and its clients, vendors, opposing counsel, and courts.Manage all files by applicable laws, rules, and regulations.Prepare and present pleadings and other court and legal documents.Coordinate and lead a diverse staff and attorneys team within a department or office location.Oversee actions of paralegals assigned to assist the Attorney or those under his/her supervision.Requirements:Juris Doctor degree.Member of State Bar in good standing in FL.Admission into all state and/or federal courts in which the firm designates an Attorney to practice.5+ years as an attorney in business disputes or commercial litigation law.Skills:Excellent organization, communication, time management, and listening skills.Ability to handle difficult/delicate issues with diplomacy and tact.Professional and ethical conduct with a positive attitude and superior work ethic.Ability to handle multiple priorities, take initiative, and adapt to change.
